Positive Outcomes

At Holmleigh Care we focus our efforts on making a significant and positive difference to the lives of those we support – believing that care should be inclusive and progressive.

A positive outcome will mean different things to different Service Users. Specific individual outcomes can be pre-agreed before we start to support a Service User and can be measured either by maintaining an effective level of support or preferably by increased development of life skills and, at the right time, a reduction in the levels of support required.

Many of those we support came to us initially requiring high levels of care and support, but with the help of our patient, encouraging and dedicated staff teams, these individuals have felt empowered to improve their life skills and are now able to do much more for themselves.

Our support model ensures that we maximise our Service Users’ confidence and life skills enabling them to achieve increased levels of independence. As they become more independent they require less support and are able to enjoy an enhanced quality of life. As support is reduced so is the cost of care. A real, tangible and positive outcome for everyone involved.
